Jazmine Sullivan, Jessica Reedy, Jonathan McReynolds & More to Perform in All-Star Gospel Tribute to Kim Burrell

This year's Essence festival is not only going to be great but also legendary, as top gospel artiste are on set to pay tribute to an icon, Kim Burrell. Kim Burrell, originally from Houston, Texas refers to her style of music as Jazz gospel and she has been blessing hearts with her songs since 1989.

The multi-stellar award winner, who also serves as mentor on Sunday Best will be honored with tribute from Jazmine Sullivan, Jessica Reedy, Jonathan McReynolds many others.

The Essence Music Festival is the USA's largest annual gathering of African American musical talent, and has been going on annually for 18 years in New Orleans, bringing more than 400,000 people. The festival is a three-day event, which has cultural celebrations and empowerment seminars with nights of musical performances, and there are often awards given out honoring prominent musicians in the African-American community. This years Essence Festival holds from Friday, July 3, to Sunday, July 5, 2015.
The tribute to Kim Burrell is fixed for Sunday, July 5, 2015 and Also, that morning, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark Cole, Jason Nelson and Bishop Lester Love will appear at the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience's Hour of Power.
